FAQ

Common questions

How many EV charging stations does EVPlugsMap cover?
EVPlugsMap indexes public charging locations across 200+ US cities and all 50 states, covering major networks like Tesla Supercharger, Electrify America, EVgo, ChargePoint and Blink. City-level listings are refreshed regularly as new stations come online.
What's the difference between Level 2 and DC Fast charging?
Level 2 chargers use a 240V connection and typically add 10–20 miles of range per hour, making them a good fit for overnight or workplace charging. DC Fast chargers deliver much higher power directly to the battery and can add 60–80% of range in 20–40 minutes, which is why they're the go-to option for road trips.
Is EVPlugsMap free to use?
Yes. Searching for charging stations by city or state is completely free — no account required.
Can I find Tesla Superchargers on EVPlugsMap?
Yes. City pages list Tesla Supercharger locations alongside CCS and CHAdeMO stations, including connector type and network so you can filter by what your vehicle supports.
My city isn't listed — what should I do?
Try the state directory for nearby coverage. New cities are added regularly, so check back or use the search box above to confirm whether a nearby metro is already indexed.

This supercharger is called Tesla Oasis with several dozens of charging slots. Found out that the solar panels either fully or atleast partially power the chargers, which is cool. We have access to vending machines and clean restrooms here. The day we went here the temperature was 105 and was extremely hot. There was food truck serving food too.

Oh my… many chargers here plus you have restrooms and some goodies if you need them. To use the restroom you do need to get the code from the Tesla app. Not bad!!

The Tesla Oasis Supercharger operates as a massive, self-sustaining microgrid designed to handle high-volume traffic along California's busy I-5 corridor. It acts as a major hub for long-distance drivers, generating and managing its own power supply. The Tesla Oasis Supercharger is the world's largest EV charging station and microgrid, located at 22422 California 46, Lost Hills, CA (right off Exit 278 on the I-5 Freeway). Features 164 total stalls running up to 325 kW per plug, optimized to power roughly 1,000 electric vehicles per day. Open 24/7, the off-grid site features 164 V4 stalls (up to 325 kW), 12 pull-through trailer stalls, restrooms, Tesla merchandise vending machines, and solar canopies. Attention is required on following 1. Hygiene in Rest Rooms 2. More Amenities are required 3. Better sitting arrangements 4. More stations for Air 5. More Rest Rooms should be available considering number of charging points

This Tesla station has 164 charging stations. It’s equipped with men, women and family restrooms and some vending machines. We didn’t have any problem finding a charging stall. However, the water and Gatorade machines were not working at the time we were there. If you come here around summer, it gets scorching hot. Sit in your car to cool down while waiting for your car to charge.
